International Committees

International Board

• The broadest oversight body of IHE and responsible for overall management, direction, coordination and governance. It performs this by management of IHE international development activities, oversight of the deployment activities conducted by the partner national and regional deployment organizations.
  
• Composed of representatives from each of the IHE Domains, national and regional IHE initiatives, and IHE sponsor organizations.

International Board Operations Committee

• Supports the IHE International Board in operative measures.

Domain Coordination Committee

• Ensures consistent processes across IHE Domains and promotes effective communication and coordination among them.
  
• Comprises representatives from each of the domain planning and technical committees.
  

Domain Secretaries Committee

• The domain committee Secretary is responsible for reminding committee members of the patent disclosure policy in writing (via email) and at face-to-face meetings (using the presentation slides provided below) at key milestones throughout the development process of Technical Framework documents
  

Testing and Tools Committee

• Supervises and coordinates the testing activities conducted by National and Regional Deployment Committees including the development of testing software and other tools used in the testing process.
  

Global Deployment Coordination Committee

• Facilitates consistent use of IHE profiles, processes, tools, and services across IHE regions and promotes effective communication and coordination among them.
  

Conformity Assessment Coordination Committee

• Manages the IHE Conformity Assessment Scheme (CAS) for the IHE International Board, which forms the basis for IHE Conformity Assessment Programs. 
  

Marketing and Communications Committee

• Coordinates IHE marketing and communication activities and resources.

Advisory Panel

• A group of invited leaders in healthcare information technology and related fields, who agree to provide guidance to the IHE Board.
